Really luminous writing exists in a space that recognises the ego as, at most, provisional.
Much writing is coloured to a greater or lesser degree by Narcissism, in its various disguises. This is what makes the journey from bumbling around writing for some silly reason like self-justification to putting down a splendid, radiant, resonant piece of writing, so inspiring and challenging.
This blog is intended to be, amongst other things, a record of my own journey as a writer and a bricolage of pieces, by others, that I have found inspiring.
